Windpark Huisvennen

Overview:

BayWa r.e. aims to develop a wind farm of 3 wind turbines near Huisvennen, in the municipality of Hilvarenbeek in the Dutch region of Brabant.

Huisvennen is in the “Hart van Brabant”, an area in which the region aims to develop 1 TWh of renewable energy. Our analysis shows that this is a highly suitable location for wind energy.

We are happy to get in contact with local partners who want to invest in the wind farm, including a local energy cooperative. BayWa r.e. plans to invite the local community to participate 50% in the development of the project.

We will also contribute to a community fund when the wind farm is operational. The contribution will be approximately €0.50 per MWh, or a yearly contribution of around €30,000.
