About the role
As a Transaction Manager (m/f/d) under the supervision of one of our Team Leads for Transaction Management, you will manage sales transactions for the company. Your role will involve leading transaction processes, including coordinating with internal departments and external consultants to execute deals efficiently.
What you will do:
You lead the preparation and execution of national and international project sales transactions for the BayWa r.e. Group.
You manage the entire sales tender process, including preparing informational materials, engaging with investors, analyzing offers, overseeing due diligence, and negotiating contracts alongside advisors.
You structure international investments, addressing commercial, contractual, and tax considerations.
You maintain and nurture relationships with existing international investors in the renewable energy sector, while systematically identifying and approaching new investors.
What you’ll need to succeed
Academic degree in the field of economics or natural sciences with finance-related aspects
3-5 years of professional experience in the field of corporate transactions at a project developer, an investment bank, an auditing firm or management consulting firm
Market knowledge in the energy industry is desirable
Business fluent in English, ideally deepened by stays abroad, and optionally German language skills
Experience in project management and company valuations
Experience in contract negotiations
